All volunteers are issued a parking pass for a designated parking lot. These parking assignments are determined based on the travel/ accommodations information provided to the Championship Office. Parking passes will be included in your Credential Packet.
Shuttles to the championship grounds will run continuously starting every morning at 5am
Physical parking passes must be displayed in your vehicle for entry
Utilize the QR code on the back of the parking pass for GPS instructions

Volunteers will proceed through security before boarding the shuttle. Volunteers will arrive on-site and enter through Gate 1.
Hampton Classic

Volunteers will arrive on-site and enter through Gate 8 (located right of Hole 12). All volunteers will proceed through security and have their credential scanned before entering the course.
Shinnecock Nation Reservation

Volunteers will arrive on-site and enter through Gate 3 (located at Stony Brook Southampton). All volunteers will proceed through security and have their credential scanned before entering the course via the pedestrian bridge over Ct. Rd. 39.
General fan parking will be located at Calverton Airfield. This lot is open to the public, no parking pass required.
MTA Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) will be the easiest and most convenient way to get to the U.S. Open. Train services will be provided in both directions along the Montauk Branch and will accommodate volunteers traveling from New York City or Eastern Long Island.
A temporary train platform that will be constructed at Stony Brook Southampton, just across the street from the championship grounds.
The Championship week train schedule will be shared by the LIRR in May.

Ride share services will only be allowed at the designated area located at Stony Brook Southampton, which is a short walk to Gate 2. Vehicles must enter the Ride Share & Passenger Drop-Off area via Old Montauk Highway.
There will be NO parking or staging for vehicles, so please coordinate pick-up times accordingly.
Please follow directional signs and parking attendants to the appropriate pick-up and drop-off location. Ride share vehicles are NOT permitted to pick-up or drop-off at any other location around the championship grounds.
Bike racks will be located at the rideshare location at Stony Brook University’s Southampton campus (shown above). Please note that owners are responsible for the security of their bicycle.
All volunteer parking lots will have handicap spaces for anyone with a handicap placard. If you require the use of a lift equipt vehicle, please reach out to the Championship Office at 2026usopen@usga.org
